Fully Supervised Circuits

TraceTek products monitor with in a fully supervised
4-wire circuit configuration. Current is flowing on
all 4 conductors all of the time even when there is
no leak. A TraceTek control module cannot be "disconnected" from
any sensor lead and not recognize the event and then
report it. This is not always true with 2-wire and
3-wire monitoring circuits. TraceTek leak detection
systems are UL Listed in the USA under Process Management
Equipment and tested to Standard 864 (Fire Protective
Signalling Systems). Fire Protective Signalling Systems
require the use of fully supervised circuits.
