TT5000
sensing cable for liquid hydrocarbon oils
The
TT5000 sensing cable detects the presence of
liquid hydrocarbon fuels at any point along its length,
but does not react to the presence of water. Raychem’s
radiation-crosslinking and conductive-polymer technologies
combine with a rugged construction to make the cable mechanically
strong and chemically resistant. TT5000 sensing cable
is designed for a number of applications, including:
- Double-contained
pipes
- Underground
fuel lines
- Trenches
- Tanks

TT5000
sensing cable is available in standard lengths with
factory
installed, low-profile metal connectors. Heat-shrinkable
tubing is provided to cover and protect the connectors
after installation. TT5000 sensing cable is also available
on bulk reels for installation in double-containment
piping.
Connector kits are available for installation at access
points.
